need some info

Hello all this is my first post on this forum. Maybe someone here can help me out its a long story but here we go. I bought a 86 ford ranger 4x4 off ebay the truck was shipped here and when it got here there was no way in hell it would ever see the road. The frame was actully broke and is very rotton plus no floor in the cab. Basiclly I got the shafted on the deal. Regardless I also have a 86 4x2 with a fresh 2.3 in it. I was going to take and convert it into a 4x4 but the ebay truck has the push button 4 wheel drive X-case. Does any body know what I need to do to convert it to a manuel X-case. What years are interchangable. Does the v6 have the same x-case. Last but not least do I have to find a front axle with hubs or do I just go get locking hubs and put them on. Any help is greatly appreciated
