New guy...soon to back in a Jav...I hope!

Howdy! new guy.

Friday I may leave automotive HELL! ...for the last two years I have been driving a 88 Corssica.....ARGGHHHH!!!!!! all my rides have been 1971 or older till now and I'm getting tired of driving around with a paper bag over my head.

Early this Friday a Pal and I are going to look at a 72 Javelin SST 360! Its been over the phone only so far.....The car is not being advertised and I was linked up to this dude when I called on a 68 Cougar that was already sold.

He states that the car has been in the family for over twenty five years and the body is in great shape and is STRAIGHT!, nice interior, good strong motor, it has faded paint and needs a paint job. They actually have three Jav's total and need to sell at least two....why?...taxes need to be paid they say.

Well here is the part that makes me worry......2,300.00

The guy is an older gentleman and sounds fare, experienced and not ignorant when it comes to classic rods at all.

Ten years ago I had a 71 SST and man, do I miss that car!

Without seeing it...do you think that 2,300.00 sounds kinda low ( too good to be true? ) or is that about right?

Wish me luck!

Troy

Hey I got a neighbor that's thinking of selling his 71 jav I think it's a 360 4-speed car. It's a little ruff, but it is a driver. Did you buy the other one?
