How to recognize command trac from select trac?
I'm planning to buy a jeep cherokee classic 4x4 (2000) with 45000 miles on it...I know its a 4x4, but the dealer doesn't know if its permanent 4wd (select trac) or part time 4wd (command trac)...how do i can recognize which one is the one in the jeep?...please help me out!!!

Doesn't it say near the 4WD lever? I believe it says either command or select right near it. If not, does the XJ still have the manual in the glove compartment??

it doesn't say near the 4wd lever (or exactly where?) and it doesn't have a manual, thats why i am asking...thanks anyway!!
