Crank Sensor?
do jettas have crank sensors? cause i got a jetta that wont start has fuel spark cranks fine wont start....

Some (>'94) have an engine speed sensor between the engine & transaxle, by the front engine mount. There is no specific test, the only thing I can suggest is to check for resistance between the red & green wires.

o...the prob is im doin ths over the phone i never seen the car jus seems to me like a cam or crank sensor...i deal with hondas so i wasent sure if it had one...its a 96 jetta though...
