Cigarette Lighter Doesn't Work
I have a 1992 Caprice that was recently stolen from me. After I got it back, they removed the ashtray. Purchased new one, but I found that the connecting wires for power had also been removed and none are present under the dashboard to connect the ashtray. Would I have to cut the wires from another caprice and figure out where the go exaclty or what? How can i fix this? Do i need an electrician to look at it, or do the power wires plug into a molex connector of some sort under the dashboard? Replies will be very much appreciated, thank you.

Re: Cigarette Lighter Doesn't Work
The lighter is usually always wired to be hot, so you can just get some wire, and find a constant power source (Battery) and ground, and wire it up to the lighter. Be sure not to forget a fuse.
