just used lucas oil product fuel treatment

I have used the oil before and was pleased today while browsing at parts store I seen the fuel treatment on sale so I picked up a bottle (one bottle treats 25 gals so I used about half) Dont know how but the motor seems quieter then before use only reason I noticed was I didnt have any complaint before hand. I was just kinda like wow its quieter.
One claim made with the fuel treatment is it acts as an UPPER CYLINDER LUBRICANT Lucas Fuel Treatment cleans and lubricates valves, pumps, carburetors, injectors and compression rings.
I'd recommend it. has anyone else used it?

lucas oil site
"Lucas Fuel Treatment is for gasoline, LPG and diesel fuel. It contains no alcohol,
solvents, kerosene, diesel fuel or anything else that would be useless or harmful to
engines. Low sulphur diesel fuel and reformulated gasolines have had the polymers
removed from them, not because the polymers were harmful but because they were
attached to the aromatics (fumes) in the fuels. In their zest to rid our air of gasoline and
diesel fumes, our government has stripped our fuel of its main lubricants and, in the
process, a great deal of its power.
Lucas Fuel Treatment replaces those polymers with a concentrate that makes the fuel
slicker and more powerful than it was originally. In fact, the user usually picks up more
than enough fuel mileage to pay for the fuel treatment itself. Lucas Fuel Treatment
lubricates rings and cylinder walls for longer life. It causes more combustion for more
power and higher fuel mileage with FEWER EMISSIONS.
Lucas Fuel Treatment cleans and lubricates valves, pumps, carburetors, injectors and
compression rings. It is an absolute must for rotary pumps! It extends the life of
catalytic converters and raises the octane to eliminate spark knocks. Lucas Fuel
Treatment safely replaces the need for lead in older engines.
Lucas Fuel Treatment is an excellent diesel tune up! Before going to the shop with an
engine that is smoking or low on power, we suggest that you try adding about a half
gallon of our treatment to each 100 gallons of fuel. This is often all it needs!"

Re: just used lucas oil product fuel treatment

I have been using Marvel Mystery oil as an upper cylinder lubricant. It is $2.97 for a quart which will treat 100 gallons of fuel. How much does Lucas oil treatment cost. How much fuel will it treat and do you think it is better than the Marvel?

I've used Lucas, and I run it through all vehicles I come in contact with. I dump the entire bottle in my car, even though it's only 13 gallons. Keeps it running great!

Re: just used lucas oil product fuel treatment

It works by doing what it says it does....lubricating the upper cylinder walls and valve components....and yes, lubricating the upper part of the cylinder is essential. It helps the engine run longer and quieter, but I've never used the stuff....but I'll surely give it a try now.

it has an octane booster in it

raises the octane to eliminate spark knocks. i copied that out of ur first post. i dont know if it will hurt on occasional use tho, i dont think it will, hell i liked what i read in here and put some in today lol. if my coil goes bad then i guess i know why lol
