Problems with fan speeds

I was wondering if anybody has had problems with their fan. I've got an '01 and for a while the first speed setting on my fan had been weaker than it should. Then it turned into both the bottom 2 speeds. Now, I'm quite positive that these bottom 2 speeds don't turn the fan on at all, but my other 3 speeds seem to work fine.

Just seeing if anyone else has had this problem...

Re: Problems with fan speeds

The Alero's are plagued by bad resistor packs on the the HVAC unit. These are about $17.00 at a local parts store and you can change it yourself. It is located just under the dash to the right of the center console, above where the front passenger's left foot would be sitting.
