Tacoma Lift Kit

I have a 2004 Reg. Cab Tacoma that's about as basic as they come. Now I'm looking to get a lift kit and some bigger wheels and tires. Does anybody know what the lift on the stock Prerunner is? Also, could anybody recommend a descent affordable lift kit? There are so many out there and with my luck I'd buy the one that you are suppose to avoid. Thanks
