98 Lumina Stalls won't restart until sits overnight
ok 98 lumina 3.1. It all started when i took it for a drive and it stalled out on me after like a block. Now after it stalls sometimes it will start back up and sometimes it needs to sit for a while then other times overnight. After it sets it starts no problem. After it stalls if you turn the key on the fuel gauge goes to empty and the fuel pump keeps cycling on about every 7 seconds. When the fuel pump kicks on the lights in the dash flash. It keeps doing this while the key is on oh and the fan relays try to kick on every time the fuel pump relay does. I have no clue where to go with this any ideas?

Check the condition of the primary wiring down at the starter, too.

In fact, the more I think about it, check that second right after the battery. Make sure you don't have a loose or half burnt fusable link down there.

Leave the key on while you move the wiring around, you'll probably hear the relays chatter when you get near the problem.
