Civic Vs. Subaru

lastnight i pull up to this old school subaru at the lights, its a double left turn then another left, i didnt think he was gonna take off but he did, he hammers it and put it sideways on the second left turn and i take it without sliding, then i catch up to him, we get to another red light and he revs me, so i look at my friend in the passenger seat and tell her shes about to have her first street race lol, he revs again and i can hear the blow off valve so i give it a shot and rev back, light goes green and were neck and neck off the line, i hit 2nd and pull away, hit 3rd and I was gone, had him by about 4 cars
kid was prolly shitting himself that a garbage looking civic just ate him

Re: Civic Vs. Subaru

the wrx's are slow (the non sti models). I can whoop one from a stop....
you only need about 140 whp in a crx matched with a b16 or gsr tranny to take one.
as for the sti...that's a totally different story.

I was messing around with this pre 99 mustang gt that was all tricked out down the highway, and we pulled up to the light and I reved and he didn't race me off the line. he waited untill we were about 60 mph, then he tried to race up next to me and pull some shit. Well my top end ain't that great, so I slowed down and he kept gettin slower with me until I finally tried to race him, but yea...

Re: Civic Vs. Subaru

I raced my friends sti from a rolling start, he had 4 people in his car and I had 2, I was hanging with him through 3rd till we came to a light. I kept pulling on the top end cause he had to shift, then I shifted and he pulled on me. I loved the sound of his BOV right in my ear. I was pleasently surprised. We went at it again at the light from a stop and he just pulled away with his awd.
