Thinking of buying a TC

Does anyone know of any known mechanical issues with TC's for model years 2000 - 2002? I've been kicking around the idea of buying one, as I have a Grand Marquis that's a '98 with 110k miles on it. I have to say it has been an awesome car, but it may soon be time to get something else with lower miles on it. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!!
