2000 Sable w/ forever-on dome lights

We just bought this 2000 Sable a week ago, and now the dome lights wont turn off, just like you guys are saying. My dad is getting some WD-40 as we speak, so we will try that. But the only thing that differs in my situation from most of you guys is that my "Door Ajar" light isnt coming on. We think it might have something to do with the keypad on the drivers side door, since it also is turning on. The guy who sold us the car told us that the keypad no longer works, since we had a snowstorm a while back. Another thing, the lights in the lock and window controls on both the drivers and passengers side are also on, and wont go off. So, if the WD-40 doesnt work, does anybody have any other suggestions?
