paint coming off

does anyone have paint coming off where the step plate is? When you open the door, and then close almost you can see that there is a like a hinge that hits the paint....also, at the bottom of the door there is a type of rubber molding, which also leaves a mark from the front to the back....it looks as if the doors are ever so slightly lower...is their a way to lift the doors a tad....or do you have to replace the hinges or......someone know?
