Help with Cd player

i have a 2000 Ford Taurus SE here is a picture of the dashboard.... http://carad.ebayimg.com/i2/01/a/03/32/36/78_4.JPG
since the heating and air system is connected to the audio player can it be taken out and a cd player put in? help please

Srry but unforutunatley i dont think it is possible. But you can still buy a cd player and mount it under the dash near the floor for example. Just buy a cd player, and take it to a pro to get installed. Or if you know alot about car audio, you can do it yourself. Hope that helps

there is aftermarket kits for this dash which i believe has the heater controls and everything, Its about 80-120 bones though

yea, there is a kiy that "mocks" the factory head unit, that had to stuffed somewhere under the dash
