carb vs fuel injected

i saw a fuel injection conversion kit..whats the idea behind it? good or bad? makes a big difference? just looking for input.

the stock vw fuel injection was good for more hp up to about 6000 rpm but after that it doesnt work very well. If its a good aftermarket kit(usually very expensive) then you could get some pretty good numbers out of it. I would just stay with carbs, they are easier to tune and can make some pretty decent power out of a dual setup.

sounds good to me. dual carbs seems to be the most popular route anyway. thanks
