Re: Ka24e-t

well if you want a kit, you have to have a hp goal.. basically the more hp you want, the more money you're gonna spend.. if you want a basic kit, you could be spending anywhere from $2500 to $3500.. it depends on what you mean by basic..

Re: Ka24e-t

i couldn't tell you much about the ka24e engine.. check out www.240sxforums.com .. they have a section for ka24de-t and ka24e-t.. there's actually a bunch of guys there with the e-t setup..
but basically you could look at:
full intake ...........................100
mafs ..................................150
exhaust manifold...................400
turbo..................................500
exhaust...............................700
injectors..............................150
fuel pump,............................100
ecu remapping......................500
---------------------------------
total 2250

for an intake, the popular one is aem
for the mafs, i don't know if it would work, but the z32, q45 or mutang gt
injectors, go with 370cc sr20det injectors
walbro fuel pump
and the rest is up to you to decide which company to go with..

Re: Ka24e-t

www.gladmanperformance.com I believe. The member is Jordan Gladman. He's the big KA-E guy.

You pros are:

Lower compression ratio from the factory.
Some say the E is easier to work on.

Cons are:

Aftermarket support
Older engine(not a con if its in good condition)

Stock internals will hold 250whp no problem as long as you don't detonate. Compression test it to see how good the condition of the engine is.

We need a KA-T parts required sticky. Or just a KA-T FAQ in general.
