Drivers side door leaking
On my 2000 Blazer, the drivers side door leaks. It comes in from the top of the door, almost directly above the side mirror controls. It only happens when it rains kind of hard. Is there a fix for this? My brother had an 01 Blazer and said his had the exact same leak. Any help would be appreciated

Hey man, not sure if this is the "best" or "correct" way to fix it, but I (in search of my drivers side leak, which ended up NOT being the door) bought a tube of weather stripping adhesive from my local Benny's and resecured my gasket where it was slightly lifting in that same spot. It's cheap stuff, just a couple of bux. A bit on the stripping, and a bit on the car where it attaches....then you wait about a minute for it to take up, and push it together and hold till it dry's. My appears to be holding quite well!! |

Re: Drivers side door leaking
It is that, you your door pins and bushings are worn and the door is not closing properly.
