Radio Lights

Has anyone ever had to replace the LED (Lights) that are in the back of the radio buttons? I just noticed this morning that the Number 2 and 4 radio button no longer lights up.

If anyone has replaced these bulbs is it an easy install?

Let me know, thanks.

In theory, the part is not replacable, at least as far as Delco is concerned.

I have on a couple occasions, been able to replace the bulbs with a soldering iron and some precision work.

I had a donor radio to strip the bulbs out of, but something like that may be available at Radio Shack.

Hope this helps.

frist of all you got to take the screws out of the dash board there should be about six of them, two are hidden underneath a piece of the dash board at the bottom you can get to these by pulling it out a little but be carefull not to crack it.then you should have enought room to pull out the radio and replace the bulbs....watch your wires
