Re: f250 not charging
TOMHANIk
Remove battery cables from battery-Clean with terminal brush--even if they look clean, and clean battery posts.Leave cables off and charge battery. NOW-start checking, almost everything feeds from starter relay.MAKE SURE IT IS IN PARK OR NEUTRAL. A volt/ohm meter is helpful,at minimum a test light[cheap]. Report back |

I Have Already Cleaned The Battery Forgot To Post That Are You Saying It Might Be The Starter Relay Itself Is Drawing Power

Re: f250 not charging
Double check your cables -look for corrosion both of them--if you find corrosion in cable, under insulation, replace cable. You can check voltage w/volt meter.Be sure battery is good, and fully charged.Could be relay.Could be any number of things.Guessing-bad ground.

Re: f250 not charging
Also check the back of your alternator to see if you bumped/broke/knocked a wire off.

check the wire harness to the alternator
they corode after years of use take the wrsping off the harnness and probe them with a test light to make sure they are hot the harness i think is on pssenger side under hood along fender well if you replced all that stuff then there is a bad connection between the battery and alternator |

did you replace the battery? If not check for voltage from the poss post to anywhere on the battery.
