stalling when shifting from reverse to drive

My 2003 Explorer has started stalling when I shift it from reverse to drive. Any thoughts on why this is occuring? Your suggestions on a fix would be greatly appreciated.

I AM HAVING THE SAME PROBLEM WITH MY 2002 EXPLORER WITH 69,000 MILES ON IT. HAVE REPLACED AIR INTAKE GASKETS AND STILL STALLS RANDOMLY WHEN SHIFTING FROM REVERSE TO DRIVE. HAVE YOU FOUND A SOLUTION?
