Angry help on engine ID and performance!!!!!

Ok, got this motor, I am not sure if it is a 350 or a 327. I think it is a 350, also it has the camel hump heads on it. Can anyone tell me the specs of this motor, the block ID number is 3970010.

Also, I have rebuilt it and stuck it in my 66 Camino, put in a 244/254, lift .510/.533 cam in it Summit part number SUM1108, along with headers, HEI conversion, Edelbrock Performer, a Carter 625, TH 350, and the stock 10 bolt rear end. It has the stamped rockers and hydraulic cam, can I put roller tipped rockers without changing the cam to complete roller? I want to know if anyone knows what should be next to make it fast in the quarter. I am thinking a stall then gears, but am not sure which route to take. Resourses are limited to internet orders.

I am stationed in Germany for the next three years and there are NO US SHOPS here. The only one is about 2 hours away and they price gouge soldiers, but I will have to take it when it comes to the gears! Just for boring out the motor they wanted 80 Euros a cylinder which comes out to about 864.80 dollars!!!! Anyways any help with combos, tips and engine specs, would be greatly appriciated!

That block casting number is indeed a 350. It's probably a 4-bolt, but you need to pull the pan to be certain.
You can isnstall roller rockers without any other changes. I would suggest roller-tipped (such as Comp Magnums). They are significantly less money than true roller rockers, and can hold up better in street applications. The high-dollar stainless rockers are the exception to this.
We've been known to ship stuff to GIs all over the world, including blocks and cranks. E-mail me if you wish. [email protected]
