check engine light

Hey guys. I have a 95 escort had plugs wires changed autozone said that was the code but still on. took it back and they said it was the crank shaft sensor, replaced that and it is still on any suggestions...

did you/they reset the computer? after you replaced those parts?

they did reset it, the last code was crank shaft sesor which was changed. the TP sensor is now on just ten min. after the crank shaft sensor was replaced. is it never ending thing?

kinda is neverending you need to understand that the computer/codes just tell you what isnt giving the right readings and gives you an area to look at. you then need to test the part the code points too. sometimes if the infomation before the defective part is inaccuate due to something else being faulty that code/part couldnt possibly be working right with impropper infomation/signal.

Be sure to reset the codes after the replacement of such part. Let us know how you make out also
