Dash bezel removal...?

Im sure there are clips and maybe some torx head screws but can anyone tell me where there are any screws if any. Ive had my Cavalier stripped down to nothing and its in that state right now as its sits at the bodyshop awaiting paint but I havent even started to learn all the dismantling procedures of the TB. I just dont want to go breaking the cheap ABS plastic that GM uses.

Ive got a white-faced cluster going in so thats why I need to remove the bezel to swap clusters. Anyone know the going rate on an OEM cluster cuz mine doesnt do a whole lot of good once the new one is in.

Re: Dash bezel removal...?

Used clusters, depending on the mileage and if they have the drivers info feature or not, go between $125 and $175.

As for the guage cluster...I've had mine off about 10 times now for different upgrades I've done. These are the items that need to be removed to pull the bezel:

2 7mm screws on knee bolster under steering wheel. Two 7mm screws on the black cover on the bottom of the knee bolster. Tilt down that cover, and remove the four 7mm screws holding the knee bolster in. Remove the bolster. Remove the one screw by the cigarette lighters, the two screws from the top of the cluster (above the instruments), three 7mm screws at bottom of bezel (hidden under kneee bolster). Now, pull the bezel (unsnap it) out carefully part way. Remove all the electrical connectors (2@headlight, 2@lighters, 4wd switch, rear wiper switch, etc) and remove bezel. It's easiest to remove with the wheel tilted down all the way.... After that, remove the 4 7mm screws holding the cluster in the dash, tilt the bottom out in order to remove the connector at the top of the cluster, and you're done. Easy!
