2001 Blazer wont start!!!Help Please!!!

Ok here is my situation. I have a 2001 Blazer that I was losing the heat in. Today I flushed the system and as I was just finishing up my blazer stalled. It sputtered for a bit then quit. I originally assumed it was out of gas, cant be sure though because my guage has been acting up. It seemed a little soon to be out of gas but just assumed it was. Well when I tried to restart the battery was drained and wouldn't take or hold a charge, so I replaced the battery so that can be eliminated. The engine will crank over and barely fire, acts as if it wants to but just doesnt quite get there. This happens only after a significant amount of cranking. Eiother way I cannot get it to really fire . I have added 5 gal of gas so there should be plenty of gas there.
My question is in what order do I start trying to eliminate things. what should I look for or try, keep in mind right now the vehicle sits outside where it cold and on uneven groud so it best if I can get to fire without major repairs. If I am going to really have to dig into it I am going to have to tow it elsewhere. Any help will be greatly appreciated!!!!

Start with the basics.

Check for fuel pressure, then check for spark at the end of each spark plug cable.

Any chance that you soaked the distributor with water during the flush? You might try removing the distributor cap and look for moisture/water. We will all assume it was running well before the flush, correct?

Yes it was running well before the flush, I am going to pull the cap and check today, after speaking with a friend we decided that was probably the place to look. I will let you know if that works and look for where to go next. Thank you.

While you're there, inspect the distributor cap for cracks or holes, and also look at the plug wires especially where they go into the distributor cap. if anything looks cracked, frayed or bad, replace it. If you find water/moisture in the distributor, blow it dry with an air hose if you have one.

They looked good other than the moisture inside the cap. Must have just gotten flooded from the flushing. Now how about the heat ? It has been thouroughly flushed and I now have heat however it is very dependant on the rpms of the vehicle. If I rev it good then it will get scorching, but at idle it blows cold air. Any suggestions?

Air in the system, Replace the Radiator cap with anything but an AC Delco cap. Check your radiator when the truck cools off and make sure it is topped off with antifreeze.
