Relatively new...to me neways

Just ordered an electric supercharger, claims to add 40hp and 10% better gas milage, CFM rate is 1200, anyone got any feedback on it, seems cool to me, forgot 2 lbs of boost

I dont think those things work. You should have seared first before you ordered one. Anyways tell use how it works after you get it.

I think there is something fishey going on here. 1200 CFM's at 2 lbs of boost. What the Fu*K. If I remember correctly isn't the EVO III only pushing about 530 CFM's????

Am I confused or did someone just get taken to the cleaners???

Re: Relatively new...to me neways

It might have been somewhere else but it runs at 1200 CFM definately, since I think its just like a turboed intake, that might be why. Ill let you guys know how much boost Im pushing after I get my gauges and this installed.

those things don't work, send it back if you can, don't open it, don't give them any reason to deny your return.

Re: Relatively new...to me neways

lol sell it to some kid with a honda. it will probably make your car worse not better. especially if the cheapo plastic fan breaks and goes through your intake and trashes your motor.

Re: Relatively new...to me neways

because buying cheap junk doesn't make a car faster.

having a fan blow in your intake is NOT a turbo. its stupid and pointless

check out your GST? you already have a turbo? wtf is this going to do!

Interesting...$100 for electric fan in intake pipe, or $100 for used 14b. Which would be the better upgrade for a 2g turbo...

Let us know how it turns out, I guess.

Don't worry, just leave your options open to return it. It should be an interesting experiment, at very least.

If you have money to spend then don't waste the $100 on some plastic. Put it towards something else. Don't just spend $100 on the "thing" and $100 on a 14b. Put that $200 into a 16g or something. It will make more difference than the other two combined. Those don't work, take it from the people here who know. It may make your car seem faster but so will running alchohol in the car, or taking off your airbox. They may make it faster, but extremely detremental to the operation of the motor.

Just send it back, I have learned a lot from the people here and you have had some of the most knowledgeable people on the board reply to your post. I would listen to them.
