97 GP SE" Stalling (HELP PLEASE)

1997 GP, 3.8

Hello,

For the past couple of weeks I have been having a problem with my vehicle. It randomly stalls on me when I'm driving, without any warning. After it stalls, once I stop the vehicle I can fire it right back up. It then runs perfectly. There has only been one occasion that the SES light has appeared. When it happened I took it to Auto Zone and they read it on the Diagnostic. They said that my Oxygen Sensor was going bad. However, several mechanic have told me that it would not cause the vehicle to stall. Now all the mechanics are puzzled because they cannot tell me what is happening with my car. It just seems to stop out of the blue and starts right back up. They tell me that there's nothing they can do unless my SES light reappers and it hasn't. Can anyone help me please I am a poor college student and I can't afford to have my vehicle stalling on me in the middle of traffic..... What are some of my options?... Is it the Oxygen sensor or possibly the Crank Sensor. It seems like whatever I fix it will be a shot in the dark.... Please Help!

actually, my 02 sensor caused mine to chug really bad when i applied the gas, i could see it actually stalling if it were bad enough. i would change it since it is cheap and easy to do. to be however it almost sounds like the ignition module
