oil

What kind of transmission oil do you guys recommend for my 95 integra RS (manual tranny)?

I agree, stay away from synthetic in Honda transmissions.

It can and I have heard, but have no tangable proof, that it will damage the synchros.

nothing less that genuine honda MTF, but i think next time ill be trying redline manual tranny fluid...

Redline is full synthetic. I personally would not use it for the sole reason that it is synthetic, but others seem to like it and GM synchro mesh. Not sure about the GM stuff though, it might be mineral based.

standard tranny...i thought honda takes motor oil like 10w30...i got a prelude and drained it and it was oil asked the guy at honda he said all hondas take for standard is 10w30

i decided that im going with full sythetic, did some research. now what kind of grade oil would u recommend for the tranny, and what grade for the engine? i also heard that the tegras tranny and differential oil are one, so if i drain the tranny oil, im also draining the differential oil. is this true?
