I know its not a ford taurus, but can you help?

I have a 1997 sable and there are a few things I am having trouble with ,the glove compartment will not shut, the trunk leaks. (The rubber appears to be intact around the trunk.), sometimes when I start my car it will want to stall (but when you give it the gas its fine), it blows cool, not cold air, and twice it it seemed like it just didn't want to go(but after a few minutes it was normal).

Onto the door issue...The drivers side door is always ajar, my friend's dad unhooked it in the door to get the lights to stay off for me. (The man who sold me the car damaged the drivers door lock when he tried to remove the pannel himself he bent something and it sticks.) I have read the WD-40 trick I wanted to try it but I don't know what her dad disconnected in the door pannel, I live in GA now and my friend is in WV. I also would like to know if anyone knows how to fix the door lock. The power lock button will lock the other doors, but not the drivers. I wasn't sure if it was because the lock was bent or if the man who sold me the car disconnected something that would cause that.

I just had the break lines replaces as they were rusted and all the break fluid leaked out, and my breaks went out. I have taken my car to the people who fixed the breaks as we thought they might be leaking again, and he checked my breaks and made sure my car was in good enough condition to make a trip home to WV at Christmas. He said the only thing he found wrong with my car was the carberator needed to be cleaned...

if a guy is trying to clean your carburetor then he's a crook, no sable ever had a carburetor.

The Driver's door wont luck because of the door ajar light. Try spraying the WD-40 and see if the will fix the door problem.
