Talking help me please!

!HELP ME

So i have a '93 accord sitting in my garage. We just put a prelude motor in it and all the wiring is done . It wants to start but it wont and it keeps backfiring... if any of you wonderful people could help me out on what some of the possibilities for it doing that i would love it! thanx guys!

Sounds like your timing is off, does it have a distributor? Try moving it around next time you try to start it. If it runs off a crank/cam position sensor, perhaps the wire is loose or incorrectly connected.

so we did that but its not backfiring and now it just wont start.....

First, which is it, distributor?

If so, It sounds like you adjusted it the wrong way, try compensating in the other direction. If its limited in the direction it can move, it sounds like the timing belt/chain jumped or slipped. You might want to check your timing/cam marks.
