oil return line Supra NA

Hey everyone.
I've started my NA-T project, but have a question. Should I tap the oil return into the oil pan, or should I buy the drilled bolt that they sell for the oil return? My only problem is that the damn bolt cost about $100, thats alot of money for a bolt?

I would go with the bolt to be safe, but thats just me.
