Alright, so some of the guys and I have been talking in the Street Racing Forums. I've just explained what mods I want to put in my Civ, and what I'm hoping to get out of it, as far as a run in the 1/4 Mile. I would hope to run 14's and if I'm lucky high 13's. But I'm getting my hopes up about running 13's
.So here's the mods. CAI, 4-2-1 Headers, Catback Exhaust, Camshaft and Cam gear, Throttle Body, and Intake manifold. I've just recently started to get the ball rolling with my Civic. Currently I have I/H/E and an Apexi VAFC. So my question is, with all those mods installed, what can I expect to run in the 1/4? I'm just curious to know, and want someones personal imput or witnessing of what I could run with that listed. Thanks, I would greatly appreciate it . Late...

Re: Curious to know?
I have a coupe. I heard there really isn't any difference in a coupe and a hatch. I've never did a comparison myself, but I don't know. Anyway, I plan on just running with street tires. A lot of people have told me I may be running high 14's, but I don't know. Just waiting until summer so I can find out. Late...

I've personally never read of any b16a's even hitting 13's with similar mods (maybe I just didn't read them, who knows). And hatchbacks are lighter than the coupes, I believe that's why he asked about it. If I had to guess, I'd say you'd hit some where in the 14's; but it depends on how good of a driver you are. Let us know when you find out the old fashion way. |

Re: Curious to know?
With those mods on a 95 Civic probably about high 15s.
In order to shave off 2 seconds to get into the 13s you would need forced induction and/or drag radials.

Here's the solution, swap the motor, or turbo the one you have.
