added turbo, stock ecu ?

so heres what im thinking , i wanna ad a turbo on my 94 1.5 mirage
i should be able to modify the exhaust manifold to fit a turbo and draw the oil lines but do i need to re program my ecu or wil it supported the extra boost ?
