hi i have a 98 taurus with 72000 miles, it drives fine, and shifts fine, but i was wondering about tarnny coolers just to possibly prolong the transmission life. is there a one that is made for fords, or are they generally an all purpose kit??? anything i should look for, or check for when buying one??? also will i notice a difference after it is installed, thanks in advance for any help

Re: help with trans cooler

yes, they help a ton

they are generic, the best kind to get is the one that looks like a little radiator, but the bar and fin style is better than nothing as well and costs less. The install took me less than an hour. You probably won't notice any difference when driving.
