So i think i finally located the sesor below the radiator cap but now how does it come a part and what would it cost for a new one. My Van is a 2000.
I am asuming it is a sensor problem becouse the low coolent light comes on only for two min. after i first start the car when its cold like bellow 20 and the radiator is always full. Also any one have a good book for these kind of repairs, the book i have is useless it tells you how to tear the whole van apart but not how to do these minor repairs |

Re: How to change Coolent sensor
There is a small clip which can be pulled out using a needle nose. It is bit tight but can be done then pull sensor straight out. \it might be bit sticky. On mine I removed the sensor then cleaned it up using a tooth brush with some laundry soap and it works fine now.
