Traction Control Malfunc & SES light on
Having a problem with 2000 Maxima. Traction control Malfunction light on as well as Service Engine Light. Had alot of snow and cold weather recently in NY. Car is driveable though, and seems okay. Dread taking to the dealership. If disconnect battery cable, should this reset? Thanks for your help.

Yeah It Should Reset, Leave The Battery Cable Off For Like 10 Minutes And It Should Reset. If The Light Comes Back On Take It To A Shop That Has A Scanner. With The Scanner The Shop Should Be Able To Tell You What Sensor Is Not Working, And You Should Be Able To Fix It. Buy The Sensor In The Dealer Yourself, And Take It Back To The Shop And Have Them Put It In.the Dealer Overcharges On Labor And A Good Shop Should Be Able To Do Quality Work, For About Half The Price.
