Has anyone ever changed grills from a 94 and up gmc and put it on a chevrolet? If i get a 95 gmc grill for my 95 chevrolet is it going to be a direct fit?

Grill swap
The grilleshell should be direct fit. Take a few measurements first and make sure all of the brackets are the same. The parking lights move up a little so expect to have to pull a little slack out for the pigtails.

Re: Front grills
Bolts right up, make sure you get the corner lenses for the GMC grill. I swapped my Chevy grill w/ a GMC on my '98 and the 4 corner lenses are different than the 4 on a Chevy grill. Also, this wasn't an issue for me but you should check into it; the bumper cover-the small piece that fills in the gap between the grill and the bumper-make sure they are the same. If not, just get the one for GMC and it will be all good

Re: Front grills
I put a chevy grille on my 93 GMC, I had to buy new parking lights and the lower piece that mounts between the bumper & grill it helps hold it in place. This is how it looks.
