Re: physics notecards

We got to do that for History once...I used my computer so I could fit absolutely all my notes on one of those cards.

Re: physics notecards

I have a test today, and I get to use both sides of a 8.5X11 sheet of paper. My writing is about as small as yours and my paper is filled.

Re: Re: physics notecards

Amatures, get a TI Calculator and replace the shell, and you can write notes into the calculator itself. I managed to bring all the equations we went over during the entire course, with examples for each one, to my physics final. Plus if you look around you can actually find programs for solving most any problem.

I have to agree with Sexy. Whenever my profs allow notecards, I fill that thing to the max and take full advantage.

Re: physics notecards

Use a comp...size 6 font. I once had every equation with examples and every definition from every chapter over the whole semester.

Jeesh, you guys are lucky. We were never allowed to bring anything to our exams but pens or #2 pencils. Things certainly have changed in 20 years!

Re: physics notecards

wow, and still has space, that alot of notes too. I just finished College Physics; and notes on a test, is the shit.
FUTURE REFERENCE : Format MS Word so that you can put a card in your printer, then type the notes, and put it at a 8 pt font, still legible and neat

Re: physics notecards

Consider your selfs lucky when you GET a card, in Australia (well, at my highschool and my university), at highschool, they catch you with ANY scrap paper, BYE BYE PAPER! They catch you at UNI with ANY other paper than the paper in which you've been given, haha, BYE BYE ENROLLMENT!

Re: physics notecards

I gotta agree, If it was me in your position, my first question would be, "can I bring a magnifying glass with my notecard?"
Thats not bad for an amateur, but I would have fit all that and more onto one side. Hell, I would have fit all that and more under that quarter.
