automatic fuel cut-off
in my 4th gen lude VTEC there is an automatic fuel cut-off at around 7400 RPM's. when i forge my pistons, sleeve them, bore the engine, you know the internals and shit that will raises the maximum RPM's, how do i get rid of this annoyance so that i can reach maximum potential? how long does it take or is it just a switch.

Re: automatic fuel cut-off
Something like Apex-i AFC or most piggyback chips will allow you to raise the rev limiter. Depending on how high you want to go you might have to use something like Hondata or AEM's EMS. Also, if you plan on setting it pretty high (above 8000RPM) you'll want to get upgraded valve springs and retainers to prevent "valve float"

Re: automatic fuel cut-off
I'm assuming you have an H22. I didn't realize the fuel cutoff changed that much from the 4th gen to 5th gen. Mine cuts out at ~8000RPMs.
