'82 280Z Tail & Instrument Lights Not Working

I've lost the tail lights and instrument lights on my 1982 Datsun 280Z. I've checked the fuse and it does not have power, so there must be a relay or fusible link out somewhere. The Chilton's manual is a joke. Does anybody know where to locate the relay/fusible link? Any help is greatly appreciated.

hmmm have you tried looking at a wiring schematic? It might not necessarily be relays or fuses under hood...on the other hand it could be.. just trace out where the wires run and go from there... i would look at a schematic first..

Start with the simple thing first, check the fuses. If there ok then with a trouble light and a multimeter start checking the wires.

Re: '82 280Z Tail & Instrument Lights Not Working

that should be in the owners manual. But if you dont have it or its not then I would try and find a wireing diagram. This would give you a idea where to start.

Albert he said he is tring to find the fuse/relay for it.
