Veilside RX7 Underway

Well the willys is stored away and the next one is underway.
Already the parts have been removed from the trees and started to be sanded and primmed.
Here's a pic of the body kit.....awesome is all i can say
The fitment of the skirts and quarters are not the best but will look OK after a bit of trimming etc.
The wheels are great too.
Usual pics and updates will follow as kit gets built.

hey its a little bit offtopic but you said you prime parts after you remove them from trees. and in Dan's pictures(subaru in the "painting car bodies etc.") i see that he is not removing parts from trees before priming.

in psychology:
you like A
you like B
A acts opposite of B
you are confused, you kick your dog

inner-conciouswhat a stupid question)

UPDATE.
Things have been slow on the kit due to work around the house that needs doing first

Anyway,......the body has been sanded down and the skirts/quarters and bumper glued to the shell so it can be painted as one.
Thes skirts are not a good fit and needed to be filled in places to take up gaps. The rear quarters are even worse for fitment . But once they were filled and 3 coats of primmer added they look great.
Have no idea as to a colour yet again

Other parts are now painted and when dry will be glued together and the ride height etc checked to see if it needs lowering.
Hopefully get some pics up in the weekend

What did you use to fill the gaps? Epoxy Putty or Putty?
I don't understand it, but my Tamiya Skyline's rear bumper wasn't a very good fit. There is a gap big enough to slide paper through. I don't believe it.

Why don't you try some wild metallic blue (more to the light blue side...)

Have a good look at your raod cars Warren and see if any colours are missing!
You could go for Red (Fast & Furious) or, like Alex says, a good deep blue. They look great in Gran Turismo in blue.

NOT yellow or Silver!

I was thinkin of making a replica of the Fast and the Furious RX-7 also,
using the Combat II version of the kit and make the lights from the Aoshima C-West RX-7 and rims seperate (Fujimi Veilside Andrew Racing F's). Although i can't get the decals.

Tell me what u guyz think...

This is where i can get the lights...

Rims...
