Dillema

So... i've got 4 13kv.2's off a NINe.1 in 7.3^3 @28hz. When i built the box, i made one of the diameters to big for the sub.... So i tried to fix it, and i just ****ed up the box. ( Don't ask how ) Anyway, i was thinking i don't need 4 subs anymore, as i don't need to let other people here my music. I thought i wanted them to for awhile, psssh, oh well. Anyway, i was thinking i could sell the 4 13kv.2 d2's and buy a 15" XXX. I'm buying some nice comps soon, as i just got a avionixx 400.2. I have some 3/4" MDF left i could use to build a nice sealed box. I have a aprx. 49"x52" sheet of wood in my garage. I'm wondering if you guys think i should just build a nice sealed box for 2 13kv.2's and sell the other 2? I really think i want only one sub though...( i love one sub setups ) and i know one 13kv.2 isn't enough for me, as i've heard just one sealed. Plus, i've heard a XXX in a small, 1.5^3 sealed off a hifonics 1500d and it was to me, amazing. I know i obviously have enough wood left for an enclosure, but with those dimensions, what dimensions/total size would you reccomend for an enclosure for a XXX15. I want all out SQ here. Thanks guys, sorry for the long, and somewhat boring post...

ehhh I'm not a big fan of sealed xxx's.......they're great ported though....... Maybe look to get a brahma or avalanche???? If you heard it and like it you can go with it..... The only sealed xxx setup I heard the low end suffered like a mother and I've heard of several other ppl w. the same problem...... ported is a totally different story.

Yeah...i've been debating... i'm thinking about selling the 3 of my 4 13kv.2's, sell the NINe.1, and get let's say a NINe.2. Build a custom ported enclosure tuned to 28hz. The question i have is, will this be enough? I want all out SQ here, not huge bass for rap, just enough to sound great, low, and somewhat feel it. I have stock front speakers....ewww, and a avionixx 400.2 sitting here, so i was thinking if i sold the 3 kv.2's and NINe.1, i'd sell the avionixx to my friend, and buy the edi 6000 with a NINe.2 amp for $250 < - - - hell of a deal.

So overall it'd be:

Pioneer 7500mp
eD NINe.2 on a 13kv.2 at 28hz
eD NINe.2 on edi 6000's
I've got some dynamat around, so i'll deaden around the mids.
( small pioneer amp on rear 6x9 pioneer's for some rear fill )

You think that'd satisfy me/you for SQ? I just don't want to sell the 3 13kv.2's, and have one ported not be enough to keep up with the comps. I have a feeling it will though. Thoughts? -Thanks for your help guys, i'm pumped to get some real good SQ going...

If you want ALL SQ. Go with the Brahma or Avalanche in a sealed enclosure with a nine.1. That nine.2 won't power anything worth buying that has awesome sq.
