Charging Problems

I've got a 1986 Pontiac Parisienne and i can't figure out the charging problems. Died once, got a new blet, died again, got a new altenator and still cant figure it out. There is a plug on the bottom of the altenator, i think one goes to the idiot light, but i cant figure out the other. If anyone knows where it goes to or knows where i could find a wiring diagram itd be great.
