4.3L rearend problems

I recently wrecked my 98 blazer LT, which came equipped with a 4.3L vortec. The insurance company totaled it and somehow under the grace of god, allowed me to keep the remains. My wife had been complaining about the engine in her 94 camaro acting up, (3.4) so bright old me decided, "hey, just throw the 4.3 in it!" suprisingly, everything bolted up fairly easy, but after about a month of running the car with the new motor, the rear end exploded. are the rearends in V-6 camaros set up for the 3.4 only, or was it just bad luck? please let me know if i have to get a different rearend setup.

Re: 4.3L rearend problems

Im guessing its just bad luck. You could just check the junk yards and get a rearend from a v8 fbody. That would be the easiest solution I think. You may just have to play around with the brakes if you currently have drums.
