Is the Mazda dealer the best source for replacement wiring harnesses?
I am looking for a 2nd gen TII and they seem to have a common problem with wiring. I am currently looking at an 87 with “wiring harness that was cracked and crumbled...” the car has >100k miles on it and 37k on the motor. Over all, the car seems to be in good condition and everything works. It runs but shuts down on its own. I am thinking it might be best to just replace the harnesses rather than try to trouble shoot sporadic problems. any idea, thoughts, welcome. thanks, Jim P. |

Re: Source for replacement TII wiring harness?
Get the ECU tester lights, then wiggle the harness till you find the short.. Fixed SO many FCs this way...
Maybe I just rule.. Who knows?
