automatic light troubles
Im having problems with my headlights on m '98 blazer LT. I cant figure out how to get the automatic headlight feature off. (where they automaticly come on at night.) the owners manual in my friends '04 said hit the dome overide button 4 times and youll hear a ding sound andit will go away, but this dosent work in mine. any help would be appreciated.

The dome override switch 4 times should do it. If not put the parking brake on just a little bit before you start it and they won't come on, or I have heard of some people putting a resistor in place of the sensor so they will never come on automatically. I'm not sure of the resistance, you would have to test it.

Re: automatic light troubles
you will need a 680 Ohm 1/2 Watt resistor. these can be found at Radio Shack for about 50 cents for a pack of 5.
remove passenger side speaker grill on dash. unplug wire from the light sensor (little ball sticking up from the grill). insert resister into plug, and use a zip tie to strap the plug down to the dash. reinstall grill.
