wrong pins connected

I've connected wrong pins (diagnostic port) when I was trying to match transmitter to my car. Is that possible that I've damaged anything? Can I reset the computer to restore it's previous (factory) memory?

Regards

Re: wrong pins connected

The car starts without any problems. Runs perfect but the alarm sets off witout any reason (every 3-4 houres) and the "Security" lamp is on for maybe 1-2 minutes after I start the engine but everything works fine. Will that help if I unplug the battery? In addition to this something is wrong with the remote entry system. When we've bought this car (2 weeks ago) it hasn't work at all after maybe 4 days it's unlocked the door but hasn't locked them. Now it doesn't work at all. My father says that maybe there is no good connection between the batteries and the pilot. Is that possible? And the last one question - should I write the posts with the dictionary and the grammar book? Can you understand me without bigger problems? regards

Re: wrong pins connected

Just to be safe, you might want to unhook the negative battery terminal overnight. I don't know if it makes a difference over a half hour, but I've been told to do it overnight before, so I'd give that a try. And yeah, I'm sure it's fine without great spelling and grammar - just look at some of the other posts - ouch!

Re: wrong pins connected

I've disconnected the battery for 2 days but the alarm system is still crazy It sets off about 1 hour after I arm it. The 'security' lamp is on when I start the engine but goes off after 1 - 2 minutes. Is that possible that the alarm is activated by the damaged automatic pull-down system (it was repaired because it didn't work at all)?Maybe that's why 'security' lamp is on?Is that possible that I've damaged the computer and it can't be repaired? What else can I do?Please help me!

I have one more question. My PA has 'gran touring suspension' with auto-leveling feature. Is auto-leveling system electronically controled? Is it helpful on bad roads or only when I load the trunk?
Regards

Re: wrong pins connected

I think you might need a new security system computer. It's located behind the glove box and up above right below the dash. I think they cost a few hundred dollars. I don't think it's the pull-down. Auto-leveling system is electronically controlled, and it just helps level the car when you have heavy loads in the back.
