Re: Sol good in Rain and Snow?
Really depends on what tires you have. For me, the Sol's great in rain and not great on snow. But I have sport tires that were meant for dry and wet only, not snow and ice. Didn't anticipate moving north so my Sol's worthless on snow. I know of others up north that have no issues. Lots of Sol's in Canada. Tires play the biggest factor.

Re: Sol good in Rain and Snow?
my sol had some all season tires on it and performed great in the rain, but horrible in the snow and ice. Mine doesn't have ABS so that plays a factoer, but anytime i touched the brakes, no matter how lightly, my wheels would lock up in the snow. it was really scary, especially with others around you. Made for some nice drifting though.

Re: Sol good in Rain and Snow?
It's all about the tires. Right now I have almost 10" of rubber on the ground (17"x7.5" wheels with hella big tires), and even when I try to cut traction, I can't. They grip all day and all night. Depends on what kind of tire and what size. The more rubber you have on the ground, the more traction you have.

Re: Sol good in Rain and Snow?
also depends on tires... I'm sitting on really good tires... about $190 a piece. Like I said... I have yet to slide or spin... and don't think I haven't tried.

Well, I spin all day in the snow even with snow tires on there. The car is too light and will spin if you push on the gas even a little hard
