Replacing Sparkplugs

Today I was trying to replace the sparkplugs but I can't get any passenger side plugs out. I have heard you can apply penetrating oil or silicone spray... do you know if this actually works. And would any automotive store carry either of these? Thanks

auto parts stores carry both. When was the last time they were changed?

Unfortantly I am not sure when they were last changed. It looks like its been a while because the plugs are white with a fair amount of deposits on them. The driver side plugs were easier to change so I am assuming they have been changed more recently.

look for PB Blaster, works wonders.

Breaker bars aren't damaging unless used incorrectly. They allow for more pressure with less force. You can get the same effect from putting a pipe over your wrench as long as your going in the right direction and not appling to much downforce to break the plug or bend the threads nothing will get damaged. I took the breaker bar to mean just pry it out.. I thought you were kidding about that. How easy is it to break the plug because that would be the last thing I need.

Use penetrating oil/wd40 and a breaker bar and I would almost guarantee it will come out unless you over heat alot and melted it onto the head which has happen before.
