93 GCL Lift gate latch stuck

Hey does anyone know how to get the lift gate latch un stuck on a 93 Laredo??? Any suggestions let me know.

whats it doing?

You pull on the latch put the truck doesn't open?

try to push in on the door (liftgate) then pull the handle then open.
