Looking for Cylinder Head 1.9L (J)

I am looking for a cylinder head for a 1988 Escort GT 1.9 J. Evidently not an easy part to find, unless you want it new. Any available out there? Any idea where else to look. Appreciate any and all suggestions.

Ok first of all i dont know wut u mean by buy it new, why would you want to buy a used cylinder head, NOT a good idea. You must be looking for a rebuilt cylinder head from Ford. For this you can check ebay, they have tuns of rebuilt cylinder heads. Check them out im sure you can find something. Need Anything else? Post Again.

Get a 1990 head. It bolts right on, but it has a roller cam in it, so you'd need to get the cam and lifters....but it'll help out a lot. Your engine will rev much more smoothly, and have a little more kick.

just buy a good used engine. I blew a head in my 99 and I picked up an engine with only 20,000 on it for $800, which was only about a $100 more than a new head. Now I have lots of spare parts from my old engine.
